Few areas of scholarship offer more reward than learning the arts and sciences of medicine. The Palm Beach Medical College curriculum is focused on the student and upon inquiry driven learning. The foundational sciences of medicine are presented in the context of clinical cases. Rather than holding the traditional position of standing in front of the class, our faculty will serve as tutors to facilitate the learning alongside of our students. PBMC students will be assigned to small collaborative teams and will leverage the digital tools of 21st Century technology. Our efforts are to construct an environment of students and faculty dynamically networked in a culture that seeks and values excellence in scholarship and compassion in care of patients. The curriculum is intended to serve the student in building the foundation, and acquiring the necessary skills, for life long and self directed learning.
